It’s funny to me that you refer to Atheist’s “Islamist allies.” If Atheist don’t believe in God, and you presume they don’t respect Christians because of their beliefs, why would they ally with Islamist, the most zealous believers of any religion?
If you don’t believe the U.S. should be diverse in our cultures and beliefs, you don’t understand what our founders had in mind, founders who seemed to be agnostic, if not full on atheists.
I think you would like a country with a more accepting attitude toward religion, say Afghanistan. You may not like Muslims, but you share their zealotry.
