Sarah Palin: A Maverick On Rape

I find it atrocious that just because a woman is raped, the rest of society is forced to kiss her ass and give her welfare checks for the rest of her life. Thankfully, President Palin supports my viewpoints:

Gov. Tony Knowles recently signed legislation protecting victims of sexual assault from being billed for tests to collect evidence of the crime, but one local police chief said the new law will further burden taxpayers.

The governor signed House Bill 270, sponsored by Rep. Eric Croft, D-Anchorage, outside the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) exam room at Alaska Regional Hospital. In attendance at the signing were members of victims advocate groups, law enforcement agencies and legislators.

The new law makes it illegal for any law enforcement agency to bill victims or victims insurance companies for the costs of examinations that take place to collect evidence of a sexual assault or determine if a sexual assault did occur….

While the Alaska State Troopers and most municipal police agencies have covered the cost of exams, which cost between $300 to $1,200 apiece, the Wasilla police department does charge the victims of sexual assault for the tests.

Wasilla Police Chief Charlie Fannon does not agree with the new legislation, saying the law will require the city and communities to come up with more funds to cover the costs of the forensic exams.

In the past weve charged the cost of exams to the victims insurance company when possible. I just dont want to see any more burden put on the taxpayer, Fannon said.

According to Fannon, the new law will cost the Wasilla Police Department approximately $5,000 to $14,000 a year to collect evidence for sexual assault cases.

Thank the LORD of the Bible for such an intelligent insight. Palin, being a fiscal conservative and a TRUE maverick (not like that RINO John McCain), realizes that people of all stripes, be they success story or failure, need to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps if they wish to succeed in our world. The fact is that it is not the American people’s business to help a rape victim recover. After all, providing rape kits would put us on the slippery slope to the serpentine snares of socialized medicine. It is wrong to coerce us to spend our money on worthless social programs, and it also goes against our religion:

If a damsel [that is] a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, [being] in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour’s wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you. (Deuteronomy 22:23-24)

But if a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die: But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; [there is] in the damsel no sin [worthy] of death: for as when a man riseth against his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so [is] this matter: For he found her in the field, [and] the betrothed damsel cried, and [there was] none to save her. (Deuteronomy 22:25-27)

If a man find a damsel [that is] a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; Then the man that lay with her shall give unto the damsel’s father fifty [shekels] of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days. (Deuteronomy 22:28-29)

And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that [is] a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free. And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, [even] a ram for a trespass offering. And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the LORD for his sin which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him. (Leviticus 19:20-22)

The United States of America is a Christian Nation, and should therefore not be so kind to rape victims. After all, as rape victims are nearly always promiscuous, they bear at least part of the blame for the actions committed against them. Requiring women to wear ankle length dresses and bonnets, so as to reduce the flowing of hair, are the first step to reducing rape. The second step is to stop persecuting men in our society, and instead give them their Biblically ordained rights.

In addition, why are the unborn routinely slaughtered just so that we can cater to the female? Rape is a horrible crime, but does that warrant committing another horrible crime? No! There is no excuse for murdering a defenseless infant, regardless of what pro-death liberals such as Iraq Hussein Osama (who would murder infants that survive partial birth abortion procedures, to begin with) think.

Soon-to-be President Palin understands this. Unfortunately, her RINO candidate and his vixen wife do not:

Clearly, this flagrant disregard for the children in the womb, placed there in unfortunate circumstances, must be addressed. For foolish views such as this, God has ordained that John Sidney McCain suddenly perish by a natural disaster of His caliber on January 21, 2009. Although we must hope that he can be saved before then, we cannot reasonably suspect that he may have come around on issues such as this.

Hopefully, a President Palin will cast aside all of this politically correct nonsense that puts rape victims in drapes and robes, and begin to give taxpayers and the unborn their rights back. Such actions are only the prelude to our ultimate goal of privatizing all of America, and defeating the nefarious doctrines of Darwinism, Copernicanism, Marxism, and Ludditism. When we adhere to the values of the Bible and the un-Frenchified Founding Fathers, we will reap the benefits of releasing our woes unto the LORD.

  1. “For foolish views such as this, God has ordained that John Sidney McCain suddenly perish by a natural disaster of His caliber on January 21, 2009.”
    Where did you hear this?

  2. Do you understand what a rape kit is?

  3. I suggest you go back and re-read your history books (that’s assuming you read them in the first place). This country was founded by a group of men, who happened to MOSTLY be Christian, but the main idea was to create a SECULAR government. The reason for this was that they themselves had already suffered religious persecution at the hands of other Christians, namely the Anglican Church, aka the Church of England. These wise men knew that any government based on religion, or any state sponsored religion, inherently leads to oppression. this is why it is in the CONSTITUTION of the United States of America that there is a SEPARATION of Church and State. This country was founded on the deeply held belief that every person should have the absolute right to practice any religion they wish to, or none at all, if that is their wish. Making laws in this country based on Christianity, or any other faith, would be blasphemous to the Constitution. You know what blasphemy is, don’t you? Of course you do. Don’t dishonor the great men who founded this great nation.

  4. “Where did you hear this?”

Go to ‘Sarah Palin Brings Atheist Daily Kos To Its Knees’, and then go to ‘The Forerunner’ link I’ve provided. You’ll learn a lot there.

“Do you understand what a rape kit is?”

If you actually read the article, you would realize that it is also known as a sexual evidence kit. The rest of society should not have to be forced to cater to every girl who cries, “Rape!” at the expense of the rest of society. Women who cannot muster up enough witnesses to prove that they were raped, when they claim they were, need to be stoned.

“I suggest you go back and re-read your history books (that’s assuming you read them in the first place). ”

I think that you need to look at the writings of their times, rather than a Leftist skewering of the facts.

“The reason for this was that they themselves had already suffered religious persecution at the hands of other Christians, namely the Anglican Church, aka the Church of England.”

Yes, those were the Puritans, who lived long before the Constitution was drafted. There were hardly any members of the Constitutional Convention that were born in England, and those that were were often Anglicans themselves. For all the pride you liberals put in how much you know about history, you’re remarkably stupid when we delve into public policy and religious history. Then again, liberals don’t really care about what religion did what, as what they really want to do is destroy religion.

“it is in the CONSTITUTION of the United States of America that there is a SEPARATION of Church and State”

No, that line is in a Thomas Jefferson letter to the Danbury Baptists. The term ’separation of church and state’ is nowhere to be found in the Constitution. In addition, only Congress is prohibited from making an establishment of a state religion; executive orders that mandate a certain religion are not forbidden.

Besides, the times are changing. We cannot tolerate a Wahabbianist in office today, as they may open up America to another terrorist attack. If we don’t have a religious test for office, we may have a Scientologist, a Muslim, or a secular humanist in office. All of these groups are eager to destroy America.

“This country was founded on the deeply held belief that every person should have the absolute right to practice any religion they wish to, or none at all, if that is their wish. Making laws in this country based on Christianity, or any other faith, would be blasphemous to the Constitution.”

No, it was founded on the basis that we shouldn’t have to be paying taxes towards the limey Brits if we don’t get to help influence their public policy. The Constitution does not prevent the President or state/local governments from establishing their own state religions; I think there is one Supreme Court case that stopped Connecticut from having a state religion, but that case was decided by activist judges such as John Marshall, rather than strict constructionists.

“You know what blasphemy is, don’t you? Of course you do. Don’t dishonor the great men who founded this great nation.”

I’m more concerned about blaspheming against Christianity than I am against the Constitution (even though I don’t have to worry about blaspheming against either). Besides, you blasphemed against Christianity with your arrogant user handle. The last thing the Republican Party is going to be concerned about is your rights, thanks to that little slip.

BTW, congratulations on completely avoiding the point of the article, which is that Sarah Palin is a maverick on rape. Then again, your post completely proves that the Leftists are fighting a losing intellectual and moral battle.

  5. Yes, Solomon was a Christian. Way back there in the Old Testament, hundreds of years before Jesus Christ. Solomon was a Jew, you twit. Blasphemy indeed.

  6. Btw, a true conservative wants the government out of peoples’ lives, not more involved, as you seem intent on. And I happen to agree with less government. I guess that makes me a bad liberal.

  7. “Yes, Solomon was a Christian. Way back there in the Old Testament, hundreds of years before Jesus Christ. Solomon was a Jew, you twit. Blasphemy indeed.”

And realizing that Solomon was the wisest non-Triune figure to ever live is an integral part of Christianity. By your logic, if you make a mockery of Noah, you aren’t blaspheming against Christianity. Mocking any part of the Bible is blasphemy against Christianity.

“Btw, a true conservative wants the government out of peoples’ lives, not more involved, as you seem intent on. And I happen to agree with less government. I guess that makes me a bad liberal.”

I bet that you’re a tax and spend Leftist, as well as an advocate for socialized schools, socialized medicine, socialized mail, socialized libraries, etc. Personally, I think that all functions that the state has should be privatized. The Church can be the institution that legislates morality, while the State can exist as a figurehead. Other than God’s Law, there should be no laws, no taxes, nothing.

I will accept your concession on the religious heritage of America, as well as the main point of the article (which you still refuse to address), the fact that Sarah Palin realizes that not only is nanny-state legislation devoted to helping rape victims wrong, it also goes against the Word of the Bible.

  8. It’s amazing how well you can read my mind. your assumptions are astounding. I hate all taxes, they should all be abolished. But why would you believe that about me? After all, you saw a couple of my opinions that don’t agree with yours, therefore you have me all figured out. And no, a pre-Christian Biblical figure is not a Christian. That’s like saying your great great grandfather is a follower of you, even though he existed long before you ever did, and never met you. If I choose to mock Satan, by your logic, I am mocking Christianity, because Satan is a part of the Bible. think about it. Not that dogmatists such as yourself are known for thinking very much, left right or center. But I don’t know you as a person, I could very well be wrong. Prove me wrong. Show some actual original critical thought, instead of spouting off retread ideology and insults.

  9. “I hate all taxes, they should all be abolished.”

You really think that way? That’s a start, at least. The problem is that you, with your anti-Christian rhetoric, are siding with the very people that want to raise taxes.

“And no, a pre-Christian Biblical figure is not a Christian.”

Well, duh. They were Jews. However, Judaism, throughout its first 4000 years of existence, is a part of Christianity. Christianity is not necessarily a part of Judaism, but Judaism does comprise Christianity.

“If I choose to mock Satan, by your logic, I am mocking Christianity, because Satan is a part of the Bible.”

If you mock his existence by saying he doesn’t exist, you’re mocking Christianity. Solomon was a moral character in the Bible, though, so that means that he is mocked by atheists in more ways than just his existence.

“Prove me wrong. Show some actual original critical thought, instead of spouting off retread ideology and insults.”

Christian Reconstructionism is a revolutionary ideology. Besides, you should join us, if you hate taxes so much; we’re committed to abolishing all of these useless social programs and regulations plaguing our economy, and when you abolish those two things, you abolish taxes.

However, you still have to prove something to me: namely, that you understand the post and have read more than one half of one sentence. I don’t really have to prove anything to denizens that try to drag the post off topic due to the fact that they can’t argue against it, but insist on disagreeing with it.

  10. Funny… I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior a long long time ago. Very anti-Christian of me, I know. I sincerely hope and pray that someday you too will accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, so that you too my know His message of love and peace. God bless you!

  11. “Funny… I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior a long long time ago. Very anti-Christian of me, I know.”

If ‘a long long time ago’ means two hours ago, then I find you believable. Welcome aboard the Palin train!

“I sincerely hope and pray that someday you too will accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior”

I accepted Him nearly 30 years ago. It is I who shows unwavering loyalty towards the Bible and the Constitution, not you or the other liberals.

  12. “If we don’t have a religious test for office, we may have a Scientologist…in office.”
    Oh God no.

  13. “Oh God no.”

I’m afraid so. Atheists and Scientologists have formed an alliance in the hopes of throwing Christians in concentration camps. The only thing we can do is keep all people that do not profess the Judeo-Christian faith from office. You’d have to be insane to let a Wahabbianist or a Scientologist have a right to run for office.

  14. I am sick of these strumpets and hussies getting a free ride on these medical procedures. Not only should they have to pay for getting their lady parts fingerprinted or whatever, they should also have to do some housework around the hospital, maybe make sandwiches for the doctors, something to make themselves useful. Plus, they probably enjoy these “examinations.”

  15. “Atheists and Scientologists have formed an alliance in the hopes of throwing Christians in concentration camps.”
Proof? I certainly wouldn’t put it past the Co$ to try something like that.

  16. I see you’re still in your twisted little daze that only you understand. Still telling lies to get people to like an animal murdering, lying, cheating, twisted little fluffball. The last thing we need is a BimboBush in D.C.

  17. “Proof? I certainly wouldn’t put it past the Co$ to try something like that.”

I’m glad to see that you suddenly changed your tone in your comment, although you really should proofread it first.

“I see you’re still in your twisted little daze that only you understand. Still telling lies to get people to like an animal murdering, lying, cheating, twisted little fluffball. The last thing we need is a BimboBush in D.C.”

When you can give me one reason why we should support the strumpets in their ridiculous quest to force the rest of society to feel sorry for them, I’ll consider actually giving you a response. Until then, realize that you have added absolutely nothing to our brilliant discussion, and that you still can’t give any reason for hating Mrs. Palin other than the fact that she is a conservative. Besides, it’s not the government’s job to care about animals, anyways. You didn’t read the Pombo legislation I gave you, did you?

Thank God for intelligent Americans like you, DPS. I’m wondering if all of these rape ‘victims’ think that they were assaulted by Firebreathers, and then kidnapped and taken to an ivory tower, full of professors. Maybe females that claim that they were raped just play too many Mario and Zelda games. Maybe they’re trying to convince the government to force all men to get their genitalia electrocuted. Maybe they just hate America. Whatever the case, it is clear that they are denying the Sin of Eve, and that they need to be punished for doing so.

Whatever the reason, we must not be ensnared by the coils of their demands. Keep up the good fight, DPS!

  18. “and that you still can’t give any reason for hating Mrs. Palin other than the fact that she is a conservative.”

I have lots of reasons, this is a really good reason http://blogs4sense.wordpress.com/2008/09/14/sarah-palin-a-dangerous-choice/

  19. Arn: That’s nothing I haven’t seen.

  20. Then let us punish them! I propose we go out and rape all females so that they will all be humbled. Join me, fellas!

  21. Congratulations! I’m an athiest but this post has convinced me to pray…Pray that this blog is a parody of a right-wing lunatic. The only “men” who could possibly hold such abhorrent views on rape as those contained in this post would be the rapists themselves.

  22. Careful there Lucy, you may be closer to the truth than you think.

  23. “I’m glad to see that you suddenly changed your tone in your comment, although you really should proofread it first.”
Co$ stands for “Cult of Scientology,” the $ symbolizing their greed. Also, you didn’t answer my question.

  24. Ixion, thanks for linking to the daily KOs. You aren’t secretly trying to help our side are you?

  25. I bet that liberal monster Katie Couric has claimed that she’s been raped. Both rape ‘victims’ and her are whiners, anyways. Thanks for your usual ‘unbiased’ perspective, CBS! Liberals, unlike conservatives, are sheep, and will mindlessly obey the Media if it tells them what they like.

  26. “Liberals, unlike conservatives, are sheep, and will mindlessly obey the Media if it tells them what they like.”

I completely agree with what Pokey Minch said.

  27. [...] An example from said blog: [...]

  28. “Careful there Lucy, you may be closer to the truth than you think.”

Please stop hitting on the commenters, libtard. I’m sure Lucy has a husband who’d be very upset to see this.

Lucy, shouldn’t you be cooking or ironing or something instead of getting yourself confused with all of these big, complicated ideas? Just turn off your husband’s computer, sweetie, and go tend to your home.

  29. I don’t think that Lucy has ever actually met a man. She sounds like a basement Feminazi that only crawls out so that she can bomb a pro-life church with her other feminist friends. I hate these people.

  30. DPS, you obviously know nothing about liberals, even though I am not a liberal, I do know that they don’t blindly follow whatever the media says, that’s a conservative trait, as long as that media is FOXNEWS.

  31. “I don’t think that Lucy has ever actually met a man. She sounds like a basement Feminazi that only crawls out so that she can bomb a pro-life church with her other feminist friends.”

Oh, dear!!! We need to find her a husband, quick. This is what happens when you leave them on the vine too long. Pokey Minch, are you spoken for? Would you be willing to help turn this muddle-headed woman around while she bears your seed?

  32. Lucy, these men have never been more serious. I myself am a woman who was found by a man in the city, and on the sixth date I lay with him, and I did cry out, but not the way the Bible means. They could have stoned me, but I begged for a chance to atone, and now I preach the Gospel of Abstinence on those same city streets. Whenever I see a lone woman on the corner of our city streets, I tell her my tale of Salvation. She listens, then explains that she’s waiting for a ride and asks me if I have five dollars to buy something to eat. But then before she can get to McDonald’s, her ride comes. And I have the priceless joy of knowing that I have nourished the body & soul of one of God’s innocent creatures.

  33. Mildred Steyn’s story is inspiring and all, but they probably ought to have stoned her. Glad it worked out OK, though.

  34. Hi DPS and Pokey Minch,

I think perhaps the main issue for you both is that you think women hate men when in fact the truth is women probably just hate you.

However, even if the women who’ve come into your life have been unkind to you try not to give up hope. I hope things improve for you both.

    Have a lovely day :)

  35. “Then let us punish them! I propose we go out and rape all females so that they will all be humbled. Join me, fellas!”

Your viewpoint is still abhorrent. Rape is awful, and men should not engage in it. However, those that are raped are often promiscuous, and often exaggerate their claims.

“Congratulations! I’m an athiest but this post has convinced me to pray…Pray that this blog is a parody of a right-wing lunatic. The only “men” who could possibly hold such abhorrent views on rape as those contained in this post would be the rapists themselves.”

Of course, atheist prayers are meaningless, but I’m happy to tell you that this blog is no parody. A parody would be a website like Landover Baptist or Jesus’ General, both immodest, immoral websites.

“Careful there Lucy, you may be closer to the truth than you think.”

If that Truth is damnation, she sure did.

“Co$ stands for “Cult of Scientology,” the $ symbolizing their greed. Also, you didn’t answer my question.”

Look at the actions atheists and Scientologists commit against any dissenters. I think you realize that these groups are evil.

“Ixion, thanks for linking to the daily KOs. You aren’t secretly trying to help our side are you?”

I posted that website to show you how much of an effort liberals go to make themselves look professional, when all they can quote is a bunch of other liberal website. The top conservative blog, Free Republic, cites a total of one source per post (usually) and gets their info from non-partisan sources. Just reading that blog post hurt my head with Socialist drivel that I had to lie down.

I bet that liberal monster Katie Couric has claimed that she’s been raped. Both rape ‘victims’ and her are whiners, anyways. Thanks for your usual ‘unbiased’ perspective, CBS! Liberals, unlike conservatives, are sheep, and will mindlessly obey the Media if it tells them what they like.”

I blame it on the Wiccan Presbyterian Church (USA).

“Oh, dear!!! We need to find her a husband, quick. This is what happens when you leave them on the vine too long. Pokey Minch, are you spoken for? Would you be willing to help turn this muddle-headed woman around while she bears your seed?”

My nephew is required to complete his courses with straight As at Regent University before he is allowed to shake hands or get any more intimate with a woman outside of his family.

“Lucy, these men have never been more serious. I myself am a woman who was found by a man in the city, and on the sixth date I lay with him, and I did cry out, but not the way the Bible means. It’s good that you choose to protest against an organization that allows homsexuals to work there. Thank the good LORD that He has created you to work so diligently for keeping the anti-Americans out of McDonalds.

I don’t think the Bible got very specific on the issue of crying out in the city, as long as you did so. As long as you cried out, you did good. Worry not about your soul.

“Mildred Steyn’s story is inspiring and all, but they probably ought to have stoned her. Glad it worked out OK, though.”

I think we need to learn a little bit more about her history first before we condemn her. She’s atoned for her sins, anyways, and she did it on her own will. And if we still need to stone her, we’ll enlist her help to rid ourselves of the liberal atheists before we start with people like her.

  36. “I think we need to learn a little bit more about her history first before we condemn her. She’s atoned for her sins, anyways, and she did it on her own will.”

Sure, I only meant that right after she lay with the man the correct response was probably to stone her; it’s only good luck and God’s grace that permitted her to atone, and we obviously can’t count on that happening with *every* harlot, now can we? So now in hindsight we can let Mildred be, but in general in that situation I think stoning is pretty clearly the Godly response.

    “Have a lovely day :)

You too, Lucy! :) Remember Jesus loves you.

  37. “Sure, I only meant that right after she lay with the man the correct response was probably to stone her; it’s only good luck and God’s grace that permitted her to atone, and we obviously can’t count on that happening with *every* harlot, now can we? OK, now that I’ve reread her post, it sounds like she committed adultery, rather than rape. I guess her story is somewhat related, though, to the stories of rape ‘victims’. I agree with you completely, DPS.
