Tattoos Are Responsible For The Economic Slump

Have you ever been in line at an amusement park or a stadium, patiently waiting for your turn to be serviced, only to be scared off by some scary looking person with a tattoo? Most Americans would say, “Yes!”, since it is a well known fact that most people that brandish their hideous emblems of deprivation tend to be turned away from jobs, and enjoy a negative reputation from anyone with an annual salary of over $75,000. Even the liberal Washington Post, well known for harboring terrorists and idiots, is making a statement on these vile sketches:

Tattoos are the emblems of our age. They bristle from the biceps of men in summer shirts, from the lower backs of women as they ascend stairs, from the shoulders of basketball players as they drive toward the basket, and from every inch of certain celebrities. The tattoo is the battle flag of today in its war with tomorrow. It is carried by sure losers.

Many stupid lawsuits are burdening our courts because some idiot chose to get a tattoo. The tattoo parlors do not deserve any sympathy, either _ they are the ones that can’t spell ‘town’.

About 40 percent of younger Americans (26 to 40) have tattoos. About 100 percent of these have clothes they once loved but now hate. How can anyone who knows how fickle fashion is, how times change, how their own tastes have “improved,” decorate their body in a way that’s nearly permanent? I don’t get it.

Tattoos are even worse than clothing _ tattoos are much more expensive to add, and extremely more expensive to remove than clothing is. Money that could be going to well-meaning enterprises like Regnery or Enron is instead going to Marxists that will doubtlessly squander their money on alcohol, prostitution, and video games.

Johnny Depp once had “Winona Forever” tattooed on his shoulder but changed it to “Wino Forever” when his relationship with Winona Ryder turned out to last somewhat short of “forever.” Angelina Jolie once sported the name “Billy Bob,” for Billy Bob Thornton, but, since she began a relationship with Brad Pitt, has had it replaced with the global coordinates of her children’s birthplaces. She is also emblazoned with the legend “Know Your Rights.” The British writer Simon Mills likens that to a sign hung in small-claims court.

Maybe Winona would have been forever for the Pastafarian wannabe if he had only read the Bible. Maybe that Feminazi Atheist Bisexual Angelina Jolie would be with Billy Bob if she had only read the Bible. Without the words of the Bible, our nation’s children will be lost into a den of iniquity and Helioleftism, financing deviant artists that wish to pierce perfect skin with the medicine of Satan. Why is this verse so hard for our nation to follow?

Leviticus 19:28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.

For those that think Scripture supports such a deviant practice, I direct you HERE.

David Beckham has turned his body into a billboard of Hebrew, Chinese and Hindi characters, not to mention a semi-nude representation of his wife. Victoria Beckham, the aforementioned semi-nude, is graffitied with Roman numerals and Hebrew lettering. As for the conspicuously tattooed Amy Winehouse, her lyrics bespeak an intelligence that someday — if she has a someday — will cause her to wonder why she never gave that day a thought.

Those ‘characters’ are undoubtedly false gods _ those ‘numerals’ and ‘letterings’ likely Satan-speak, and those ‘lyrics’ likely nothing more than a pagan orgy hallucination. Your body is a temple _ to defile it with nicotine, marijuana, alcohol, sunbathing, massage therapy, or any other procedure that changes the way God made you is blasphemy.

I asked a college professor what she thought of tattoos, and she said that for young people, they represent permanence in an ever-changing world. But how is that possible? Anyone old enough and smart enough to get into college knows that only impermanence is permanent. Everything changes — including, sweetie, that tight tummy with its “look at me!” tattoo. Time will turn it into false advertising.

Professors, of course, do not have changing opinions on anything. Instead, they subscribe to a rigid set of values, refusing to teach anything other than the same old blather story of Cosmos with new, funny sounding rhetoric. To fall into this sad state of affairs is akin to the life of a tattoo parlorist, who listen to the same Metallica song and listen to the same shrill laughs of demons everyday. To trust a parlorist with your teenager would be akin to America releasing all of its prisoners with a $500 gas card, a 12-gauge shotgun, a car with a trunk full of Big Macs, a haircut, a shave, and the names and addresses of all the witnesses who testified against them at trial.

The permanence of the moment — the conviction that now is forever — explains what has happened to the American economy. We are, as a people, deeply in debt. We are, as a nation, deeply in debt. The average American household owes more than its yearly income. We save almost nothing (0.4 percent of disposable income) and spend almost everything (99.6 percent of disposable income) in the hope that tomorrow will be a lot like today. We bought homes we could not afford and took out mortgages we could not pay and whipped out the plastic on everything else. Debts would be due in the future, but, with any luck, the future would remain in the future.

All of this is due to regulations against the credit-card industry, the purchasing of Naruto paraphernalia, and vacations to Europe, where the natives, devoid of values, convince the tourists that the social welfare system will take care of them, and that a $6.50 surgery really is possible. The wealthy will be forced to pay for the mishaps of the idiot Americans, the ones that were too stupid to pass high school, resulting in an inclination to do donuts in a K-mart parking lot with their free time, making nary a contribution for the rest of us.

Here and there the occasional scold warned that all this was unsustainable. Social Security is underfunded. The government ought to — just occasionally — balance its books. But for a long time, the unsustainable seemed sustainable. The immutable rules were mutable. Virtually the entire political establishment insisted that tomorrow would never come. Republicans joined with Democrats in never calling in a loan. Who says bipartisanship is dead? Not when it comes to fiscal irresponsibility.

Idiot RINOs and Democrats refuse to acknowledge Social Security for what it is _ a failed experiment by FDR to con working Americans out of their money so that the AARP can lobby for motel discounts for its gullible members. If the Democrats have their way, this Social Security money will be obligated to be sent to tattoo parlors so that our elderly can dress up their decaying skin pores.

I recall a tiny scandal of some years back when it was alleged that George Shultz, then secretary of state, had a tattoo of a tiger on the nether reaches of his body. This was credible because Shultz had gone to Princeton, where such tattooing was once customary for undergrads, although not, I hope, for the faculty. (I am thinking now of Einstein.) I also know a Navy man who had a bicep done in World War II, not that it stopped him from becoming executive editor of The Post. I withhold his name out of consideration for his family.

Moonbat colleges force our citizens to go along with their deviant ways, even encouraging streaking! It would be a shame for a female American to lose a promising husband because of her tramp stamp. It would be a shame for a tattooed criminal to reach a position of authority because some liberal wanted affirmative action for walking mongrel easels.

But the tattoos of today are not minor affairs or miniatures placed on the body where only an intimate or an internist would see them. Today’s are gargantuan, inevitably tacky, gauche and ugly. They bear little relationship to the skin that they’re on. They don’t represent an indelible experience or membership in some sort of group but an assertion that today’s whim will be tomorrow’s joy. After all, a tattoo cannot be easily removed. It takes a laser — and some cash.

Tattoos, like abortions, last forever, and are nothing more than a ‘Look At Me!’ expression, devoid of any concern for the children.

I have decades’ worth of photos of me wearing clothes that now look like costumes. My hair has been long and then longer and then short. My lapels have been wide, then wider, then narrow. I have written awful columns I once thought were brilliant and embraced ideas I now think are foolish. Nothing is forever.

Seize the day — laser tomorrow.

Once people of faith start lobbying to their congressmen to ban these Satanic writings and Pagan imagery, there will undoubtedly be Democrats, activist judges, and ACLU lawyers that will attempt to thwart our ambitions. However, these are the same idiots who try to convince us that welfare, Sodomism, abortion, Darwinism, ‘global’ warming, and a round earth are all necessary beliefs. Those who oppose tattoo rights know what is best not only for the economy, but also their fellow man’s soul.

Responses

  1. There’s another link between tattoos and the economic slump. Tattoos are especially popular among sodomites and sodomitesses, who, as we all know, are siphoning off a huge proportion of the economy to fund their ever-growing array of special privileges.

  2. “There’s another link between tattoos and the economic slump. Tattoos are especially popular among sodomites and sodomitesses, who, as we all know, are siphoning off a huge proportion of the economy to fund their ever-growing array of special privileges.”

It really is a shame that the fashion industry and PETA are making more money than they should be thanks to the Islamotattooists.

  3. Tattoos seem to have an even worse effect on the economy than firebreathing does. Who knew that tattoos are actually code for where abortion doctors should rip open the womb, or that tattoos of dragons are invariably gang signs?

  4. “Tattoos seem to have an even worse effect on the economy than firebreathing does. Who knew that tattoos are actually code for where abortion doctors should rip open the womb, or that tattoos of dragons are invariably gang signs?”

It really is amazing how tattoos are now the new communication modem for liberals, isn’t it, Pokey?

  5. TATTOOS ARE FOR LUNATIC LIBERALS THAT LOIKE TPO SMOKE MARIJUANA AND GET ABORTIONS WHY DO THESE WEIRDOS EVER GET PAROLED

  6. Another good thing to remember besides Leviticus 19:28 is that God also tells us that our bodies do not belong to us, it belongs to him:

1 Cor 6:19 “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?”

and in the next verse God commands us that we must take care of them: 1 Cor 6:20 “because you were bought for a price. Therefore, glorify God with your bodies.”

And certainly no man can take care of his or her body by tearing it up with stuff like a tattoo or a pierinc. And besides that tattoos and piercings are another big way to get AIDS or Hepatitus B, or any other disease because of the needle which is used repeatedly for these things.

Tattoos are wrong in general, they are absolutely unnatural and harmful to the vessel and spirit of mankind.

    That is all,
    God Bless.

  7. I just read Tom the Patriot’s fine remarks and agree wholeheartedly. I have to “take issue” though with your idea of banning tattoos. That is just more government regulation, which is what killed Ken Lay and alot of other fine Americans, the one’s Obama didn’t get. God has his own regulations, backed up by a Lake of Fire if you don’t follow them! Why not let whores, sluts and criminals brand themselves, anyway, and save us righteous people the trouble.

Getting a tattoo may well be a worse sin than shooting up heroin. That’s a good point. Basically, anything that is injected into the body via needle, whether it be HIV, drugs, or vaccines, is an assault against your temple.

“Tattoos are wrong in general, they are absolutely unnatural and harmful to the vessel and spirit of mankind.”

They are like a cancer gestating in the womb, ready to penetrate the nervous system and cause spasms, leaving the anal area open to infestation by demons.

“I just read Tom the Patriot’s fine remarks and agree wholeheartedly. I have to “take issue” though with your idea of banning tattoos. That is just more government regulation, which is what killed Ken Lay and alot of other fine Americans, the one’s Obama didn’t get. God has his own regulations, backed up by a Lake of Fire if you don’t follow them! Why not let whores, sluts and criminals brand themselves, anyway, and save us righteous people the trouble.”

I respectfully disagree with you, Mildred. There are several different kinds of regulation, some which are good, and some which are bad. Regulating the economy is bad and a sin, since that would make us more like Old Europe, addicted to welfare like a vampire is to blood. God gave us a brain, and we have a mandate to use it when choosing what to buy. It is wrong to persecute any industry just because their customers are idiots and can’t fix the problem themselves. Uppity Upton Sinclair, for instance, ruined the meat-packing industry with his Satanic book ‘The Jungle’. Ken Lay, as you mentioned, was another fine American that was assaulted by liberals, as were every S&L agent alive. Regulation of the economy is pure evil.

On the other hand, when the subject may damage the soul, such as homosexuality, bestiality, polygamy, pedophilia, necrophilia, Darwinism, Lamarckism, Heliocentrism, prostitution, gambling, spam, etc., we need to do something about it. It is UnChristian to accept a single soul going to fund the army of the Dark One. All must go to the Lord, no matter what we must do to stop them. Even if we have to kill people so that they don’t sin, we must. God mandates it.

  9. killing people because a higher guy says so sounds kinda-like nazism.

  10. “killing people because a higher guy says so sounds kinda-like nazism.”

Oh, go French kiss Stalin, you pansy.

  11. Oh My Gosh (or OMG as they say on the internet!) You have opened my eyes about regulation. Regulation of business is sinful, as we agree, because successful business is what America and Christianity is all about. But anything that threatens the workers such as the tattooing, watching filth on TV and other immoral acts is also sinful, because any Godly person must put their heart and soul into working to support our capitalist system which provides so much for us and those who God has chosen to lead those businesses. Thank you!! I was blind but now I see!!!

  12. and what does stalin have to do with anything?

  13. I wish that people would consider doing a bit of research into their subject matter prior to posting a rather ignorant rant about tattoo’s and tattooing in general. Lumping all people that are tattooed or are tattooists as ‘liberal’ or ‘degenerate’ is nonsense. I tattoo for a living. I have a large number of tattoos. I am not liberal by ANY stretch. Nor a criminal. Nor a degenerate. Granted, there are some really really stupid and ugly tattoos out there; and some really poor artists, but, there are many many more excellent tattoos involving a great amount of skill and artistic talent in general. Oddly enough, I end up doing a large number of Christian themed tattoo’s. It is one of the more popular themes in tattooing.

  14. On a sidenote. Homo’s are a tiny minority of the people that I tattoo. In general I will not work on them if I am aware that they are queer considering the rampant diseases among their populations. That and I just don’t particularly care for their lifestyles. Also, the tattoo industry is HIGHLY regulated, as it should be, to ensure that strict health and safety codes are being adhered to by artists and their respective shops. Tattoo shops these days are more akin to medical clinics than the ‘urban outlaw’ image that was earlier associated with the art.

  15. Mr. Pressley _ although I admire your opposition to the Homosexual Agenda, I’m afraid that you do not know your Scripture on tattoos. Please read Leviticus 19:28, and then proceed to bang your head into a wall over and over again. If you cannot reject your job for the sake of your religion, you will be punished by Hellfire.

  16. First, you’re all idiots. Second, I love it when the ignorant bash other ignorants for being ignorant i.e. Pokey Minch bashing jon pressley. You don’t care about the “homo” lifestyle pressley? Looks like there are a lot of Christians that don’t care yours, and if they had their way, you would be getting stoned right alongside the homos. Judge not lest thee be judged, isn’t that verse in the Bible too?

Matt. 7:1 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged.”

Matt 5:38-42 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’[a] 39But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. 41If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. 42Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.”

  17. “I wish that people would consider doing a bit of research into their subject matter prior to posting a rather ignorant rant about tattoo’s and tattooing in general.”

I cited from the liberal Washington Post. What more do you want?

“Lumping all people that are tattooed or are tattooists as ‘liberal’ or ‘degenerate’ is nonsense.”

    No, it’s not.

” I tattoo for a living. I have a large number of tattoos. I am not liberal by ANY stretch. Nor a criminal. Nor a degenerate.”

    The Bible says otherwise, treefrog.

“Granted, there are some really really stupid and ugly tattoos out there; and some really poor artists”

“there are many many more excellent tattoos involving a great amount of skill and artistic talent in general.”

‘Artistic talent’, of course, necessitates drawing sinful sketches all over the body, rather than just a small part. Every time you make a sketch on someone’s skin, you send in protons to take out the Gospel-spreading white-blood cells, and give Satan power. How does this make you feel?

“Oddly enough, I end up doing a large number of Christian themed tattoo’s. ”

Beware of false prophets. Those that advertise their faith as something that can be indigenous only to them are good signs of such prophets. Tattoos, implying uniqueness, display this arrogance.

“It is one of the more popular themes in tattooing.”

Satan realizes that he cannot cross the Ice Wall tundra without possessing pedophile UN workers, so he attempts to persuade America towards the Dark Lord through his advocacy of tattoos. Tattoos are almost as bad as atheism, if you ask me.

  18. “Homo’s are a tiny minority of the people that I tattoo. In general I will not work on them if I am aware that they are queer considering the rampant diseases among their populations.”

Why do you give any of them service at all? Do they have grotesque sums of money?

“That and I just don’t particularly care for their lifestyles.”

Unless they have a lot of money and are in your store, that is.

“Also, the tattoo industry is HIGHLY regulated, as it should be, to ensure that strict health and safety codes are being adhered to by artists and their respective shops.”

I think that you ought to read Mildred’s post, as well as Leviticus 21:17-23, which shows what God thinks of the handicapped, including the mentally so. Regulation should always be nonexistant until the Bible says otherwise, in which case the regulation should be absolute.

“Tattoo shops these days are more akin to medical clinics than the ‘urban outlaw’ image that was earlier associated with the art.”

There’s a case to be made that Wild West cowboys were actually more moral than today’s vaccine-giving, handwashing, elitist doctors.

  19. ” Second, I love it when the ignorant bash other ignorants for being ignorant i.e. Pokey Minch bashing jon pressley.”

Pokey knows his Bible. You have no justification in calling him ignorant.

“You don’t care about the “homo” lifestyle pressley? Looks like there are a lot of Christians that don’t care yours, and if they had their way, you would be getting stoned right alongside the homos.”

The Bible doesn’t specify the penalty for tattooists like it does sodomists. Personally, I think that we should use the Sword, as Jesus commanded, since it would also bring about a bit of irony by death due to piercing. However, I am open to debate on this subject, provided that the ideas come from Reconstructionists.

“Matt. 7:1 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged.””

You are taking this WAY out of context.

“Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.” (Prov 31:9)

Jesus commended Simon, “Thou hast rightly judged.” (Luke 7:43)

“Now, thou son of man, wilt thou judge, wilt thou judge the bloody city? yea, thou shalt show her all her abominations.” (Ezek 22:2)

“But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.” (1 Cor 2:15)

“The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.” (Psa 37:30)

“With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.” (Psa 119:13)

“Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?” (1 Cor 6:2)

“Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?” (1 Cor 6:3)”

The verse basically means, “Don’t judge your opponent before he has revealed his hand.” This is what Christ meant in His context. How can you tell what your opponent is doing if you have a giant log in your eye?

“Matt 5:38-42 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’[a] 39But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. 41If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. 42Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.””

The State is not a person. Why are you trying to give the government personhood?

“When a strong man, fully armed, guards his own palace, his goods are in peace.” (Luke 11:21)

“”Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” (Matthew 5:44 RSV).”

The last quote basically means that we cannot respond to religious persecutors exactly as we would a common criminal. While both the persecutor and the criminal shall be met with the death penalty, a criminal can actually harm us physically. Therefore, it is upon the citizenry to help the police exterminate every criminal that can be found, but as for the atheist, the homosexual, the Islamist, and the tattooist (NOT the abortionist, as abortion is murder, and murder is the domain of a common criminal), the State, as an extension of the Church, shall be the agent that decides whether the accusations are true, or if they are false. Satan’s minions must be shed of their cloak under the review of God, so that they cannot sneak out of the dorm room of iniquity and visit their mentor, Robbie Coltrane.

  20. You people are the most unintelligent bastards I have ever had the displeasure of reading. I may despise liberals, but I despise people like you just as much with the hateful cloud you spread. There is not a single thing wrong with a tattoo. You hold faith in a book that was written by a group of men too control people.

Admin: Don’t use the LORD’s name in vain.

  21. “You people are the most unintelligent bastards I have ever had the displeasure of reading.”

Why do you hate morality? Why do you hate America?

“I may despise liberals, but I despise people like you just as much with the hateful cloud you spread.”

What are you, a libertarian? Go change the mascot of your party, already. What are you fools doing with a Big Government statue as a mascot?

“There is not a single thing wrong with a tattoo.”

We’ve already discussed plenty of the wrongs of tattoos in this topic. Let us know if the big words are giving you trouble; we can help.

“You hold faith in a book that was written by a group of men too control people.”

You hold faith in a philosophy that tolerates absolutely no independent thought, and takes about the same amount of intellect to comprehend as it would take to comprehend how to tie a shoe. What’s your point?

  22. Look at all these here tattooists tryin to claim themselves as ‘Chryystins’. I don’t believe that no person can be a Chryystin unless they believe in the Bible 100%, even the parts that make me more uncomfortable than a gopher bitin yer butt in the bathtub! Ixyon seems to be the only here person that understands the Bible %100. I really want to see you on TV sometime!

  23. now that we have all unsuccesfuly exchanged bible verses…dude was right, you all are reading the bible a little too closely; i think. or maybe that is just how christians do it…i mean, god must love christians who hide in their house with a bible under their nose all the time, right?

  24. “now that we have all unsuccesfuly exchanged bible verses…”

It was a success, for Christians such as Pokey and myself.

“dude was right, you all are reading the bible a little too closely; i think. or maybe that is just how christians do it…”

It is completely natural to read the Bible closely.

“i mean, god must love christians who hide in their house with a bible under their nose all the time, right?”

“And when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites. For they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and at the street corners, that they may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.” (Matthew 6:5-6)

That doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t try to convert others to Christianity, but it means that when we talk to God, we must do it in our homes. Of course, prayer in school is completely normal, since school is a home away from home for children.

  25. Sorry, Horton, I completely missed your comment.

“Look at all these here tattooists tryin to claim themselves as ‘Chryystins’. I don’t believe that no person can be a Chryystin unless they believe in the Bible 100%, even the parts that make me more uncomfortable than a gopher bitin yer butt in the bathtub!”

I can’t stand people that pick and choose from the Bible. If the Taliban are at least noble enough to follow THEIR religion by the book, why can’t we?

“Ixyon seems to be the only here person that understands the Bible %100. I really want to see you on TV sometime!”

Aw, shucks! You don’t really mean that! :)

  26. Bang my head against a wall???? As I said, I am not particular to homosexuals. Big deal. I am also not a Christian, only commenting on the rediculous notion that somehow tattooing is the cause of ‘economic collapse’. Idiotic. As for not knowing scripture- I am a degreed philologist, and have studied biblical writings in depth from an academic standpoint, something I cannot say for most Christians. NOT TO MENTION: that bit in Leviticus that was so oft quoted must be read in context. Leviticus is JEWISH LAW that nearly ALL Christians claim the need not follow considering Jesus came and FREED them from the law. If you’re going to quote it, one might suggest you also live by it….

  27. “By: ~jon pressley on August 22, 2008
    at 6:54 pm”

    “I tattoo for a living.”

    “By: ~jon pressley on September 19, 2008
    at 6:55 pm”

    “I am a degreed philologist”

Unlike you, the God of the Bible does not stutter nor distort the facts. If you actually studied theology, rather than philology, you would know that the Old Testament Law is divided into two sections: moral law, and ceremonial law. Scripture, of course, often has these laws overlap, since life is not reduced to mathematics, but Christ Jesus, speaking through Paul, abolished the ceremonial aspects of each law.

Tattoos, for starters, were classified under the moral law. I challenge you to find me a specific verse that condemns it. Besides, Matthew 5:17-19 states that the Law has not been abolished; obviously, Christ meant that the moral law isn’t to be abolished, since, through Paul, Christ speaks against the ceremonial laws. Ceremonial laws usually do not comprise a large part of society; moral laws are an entirely different matter. (As for the Bible verses forbidding the consumption of shellfish, locusts, and pork, keep in mind that the LORD had made those unclean so as to punish the Jewish people for angering Him in the desert.)

“I am also not a Christian”

Then who cares what you think? Go ahead and post, as you and your ilk make non-Christians look more foolish than I could ever hope to accomplish.

“If you’re going to quote it, one might suggest you also live by it….”

I absolutely live by the Moral Law. This includes stoning uppity children.

“the rediculous notion that somehow tattooing is the cause of ‘economic collapse’.”

The man who states this has a column at the Washington Post. He didn’t get there because he was a partisan Leftist; he got there because he wrote quality articles. You don’t have any such position, AND you’re a Leftist, to boot. It’s pretty sad when a biased person cannot obtain a position at a similarly biased institution.

You seriously need to reorganize your thoughts. I will request my family to pray for you. In the meantime, if you refuse to change your thoughts, why don’t you bicker over Leftist doctrines with your butt-buddy D-Med? Nothing is funnier than watching two Marxists clash in an epic failure of verbiage.

  28. [...] for my family’s future. Pokey Minch, my frail nephew, could easily be overtaken by some tattooed Workers’ Solidarity Alliance thug that doesn’t approve of the upper-class clothing we [...]

  29. I AM BORN AGAIN AND LIVE AND SERVE MY LORD THE ONE JESUS THE MESSIAH. YOU MUST KNOW ORIGIONAL LANGUAGE IF YOU SUPPOSE TO KNOW WHAT WAS HAPPENING IN THOSE DAYS I AM A TATTOOIST OF 21 YEARS AND HAVE LED MANY TO CHRIST AND THEY HAVE GROWN IN THE KNOWLEDGE AND THE LOVE OF JESUS ALL I HERE FROM YOU GUYS IS HATE.

  30. yeah well your poor spelling will condem you to a life of servitude and self-loathing.

  31. Mike, if you’re going to comment here, please don’t do it while drunk. I think Marty hit the needle through the skin on this one!

“I AM BORN AGAIN AND LIVE AND SERVE MY LORD THE ONE JESUS THE MESSIAH. ”

Maybe you are, but you still refuse to acknowledge some sins.

“YOU MUST KNOW ORIGIONAL LANGUAGE IF YOU SUPPOSE TO KNOW WHAT WAS HAPPENING IN THOSE DAYS”

Go to the fourth link down. They explain it quite clearly. Ancient Israel and Ancient Christendom did not have permanent markings on their skin, so why should we allow them now?

“IN THOSE DAYS I AM A TATTOOIST OF 21 YEARS AND HAVE LED MANY TO CHRIST AND THEY HAVE GROWN IN THE KNOWLEDGE AND THE LOVE OF JESUS”

Yes, you probably inspired them indirectly. They probably had guilt after they got their tattoos.

“ALL I HERE FROM YOU GUYS IS HATE.”

You sound just like a liberal. You cannot argue against the Bible, so you instead resort to calling the one that gives you the message of the Bible ‘hateful’. You simply cannot pick and choose with the Bible, Mike.

  32. I’ll stop getting tattoos when you stop eating shellfish.

    Lev 11:10-12

And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you: They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination. Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.

And by the way, I make over $80K a year and have full sleeves and a back piece.

  33. “I’ll stop getting tattoos when you stop eating shellfish.”

I’ve read that verse before, moron. The Bible repudiates it many times in the New Testament. For example:

    Mark 7:

    18And he saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Do ye not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without entereth into the man, it cannot defile him;

19Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?

20And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man.

There’s also Acts, which states that the shellfish is no longer unclean.

There were several things banned in the Old Testament that are no longer banned, or that were permitted in the Old but are no longer. For example, prostitution is no longer permitted, and riding chariots over the necks of unbelievers is no longer permitted.

There are some things that many ‘Christians’ do not follow, however. For example, God never permitted us to wear anything other than single-fiber clothing, something which has been lost on America.

“And by the way, I make over $80K a year and have full sleeves and a back piece.”

There’s a debating law on this, too, that’s existed long before the advent of the Internet. It states,

Anyone who brings up their salary in a debate has not only lost the argument, but has also lied about their salary.

You’re a moron. Just admit it. You’ll feel better soon.

  34. Believe what you want, but I’m a mechanical engineer, making mechanical engineering wages, pushing this weak economy forward, and I’m heavily tattooed.

Here’s me in college getting fourth place in an invention competition.

I’m able to cover my tattoos with a suit and tie and infiltrate the conservative world so I can bring it down from within. :)

There are actually lots of tattooed professionals.

    http://inkedinc.com/ has some examples.

Is God getting really angry with all the ‘Christians’ wearing poly-cotton blends?

I think there is another law of debating that when a person immediately resorts to name calling they know there argument is garbage.

I can almost here the third grade school yard now:

    “You’re a moron!”

    “No, You’re a stupid head!”

    “No, You’re a dummy!”

    Great Stuff.

  35. i am not a liberal ! and for your info the heathens that worshiped the baals and ashderoths cut themselves and marked them selves for false gods in idolistic worship. thats not what i do at my tattoo shop where many have come to Chist. thank you.

  36. “I’m able to cover my tattoos with a suit and tie and infiltrate the conservative world so I can bring it down from within.”

    You’re an evil man.

“Is God getting really angry with all the ‘Christians’ wearing poly-cotton blends?”

    Yes.

“and for your info the heathens that worshiped the baals and ashderoths cut themselves and marked them selves for false gods in idolistic worship. thats not what i do at my tattoo shop where many have come to Chist.”

It’s good to see that you can at least denounce other gods when you make tattoos. However, the Bible is very unambiguous when it comes to tattoos.

    I will pray for you.

  37. [...] you know that tattoos are responsible for the current economic slump??!! I didn’t know that we held up so much of the world’s economy!! But according to [...]

  38. You are funny!

  39. “Tattoo Blog » you know that tattoos are responsible for the current economic slump??!! I didn’t know that we held up so much of the world’s economy!! But according to”

This Dr. Hook guy does more finger pointing than anybody out there, he doesn’t even give a resonable argument, just repells some things that are absolutely superficial.

Although he did give an effort to write a long essay in response to Bob, he was still unable to justify tattoos against us.

  40. “You are funny!”

Thanks, I guess, although I don’t really know what you’re driving at.

“This Dr. Hook guy does more finger pointing than anybody out there, he doesn’t even give a resonable argument, just repells some things that are absolutely superficial.”

The man’s a complete moron. I doubt he even read the accompanying Richard Cohen article, which stated that tattoos are forever, while human tastes are fickle. He also misses the point about my misspellings: while a typo can easily be fixed, a misspelled word on a tattoo is not so easy to fix. Thus, tattooists have to be careful, which they are often not.

I bet the man C&Ped my entire essay onto Word, and then hunted for any misspellings he could find. Considering how Word overmarks words as misspelled, he had to spend a fair amount of time hunting for the words that were actually misspelled.

That’s the way liberals and secularists are. They spend an inordinate amount of time nitpicking, but they fail to see the big picture.

  41. I think it is ridiculous when people try and quote scripture from that fantasy novel you guys call a “bible” . I guess it is blissful to be so ignorant. To cling onto this make believe story . I read it numerous times and it is ridicoulous!!! Do you people really believe that shit. Their are about 7-8 so called gods in Egyptian times that , was the son of god, born of a virgin mary , had three diciples, performed miracles , walked on water , was crucified and ressurected and a whole bunch of other b.s. that is nothing more than some stories that were made up from the galaxy and constellations. It was stolen. Do some research ,your precious “good book” is nothing more than a story. I read in it also that jesus had a mark on his thigh Revelations 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. SOunds like a tattoo to me ! But if not who cares , its not real. People been tattooing themselves since before jesus. Get over it! If you ask me its the close minded Religious geniuses that are the problem. Tattoos are about freedom of expresssion . And no one cares that you dont like them . That is the difference between tattooed people and Non-tattooed people. WE DONT CARE IF YOUR NOT TATTOOED> WHY DO YOU CARE THAT WE ARE??? Everyone of you do yourselves a favor go to [Spam link deleted] and open your eyes. There are two movies the first one has some interesting info about religion and how america fabricated the Bible. If you can prove anything wrong in the video they will give you $10,000. Very informative. As for tattooed people, “Exist in your own skin” Dont worry bout what these falsely lead “religious folk” say when they are probably sitting there with an ear piercing or is married to some fat bitch who has her ears pierced . Whats the difference?

Admin: Don’t curse, and don’t spam your website until we get to know you better.

  42. What a lame blog. Us military men get tattoos as a mark to remind us of what we fight for , YOUR loving FREEDOMS!!!! So go ahead , bash people who get tattoos , that’s your right. Freedom of speech. Just remember that while we are fighting over here kicking Muslim ass and (whatever other sandniggers we feel like shootin’) are a threat to mine and your freedoms, you might be the next ones the government asks us to go after. I may do it gladly as I wonder what kind of stupid god you answer to anyway, not mine.
You are NO better than liberals because you preach to everyone, but are too scared to pick up a gun and fight. My next tattoo might be a soldier carrying a gun with a baby stuck on the end of the bayonet with a bullet in it’s head, Written below that will be “GOD TOLD ME TO…” LOL
I will get that tattoo , and when I have to answer to YOUR god I’ll tell him he can stuff it, I was fighting for your freedom. I’ve already been to HELL ( and you are scared of tattoos ?!!) and HELL will always send me back until the planet is rid of all the weaklings and pussies like you. Christ will forgive me , because I will just be doing my job , and I will get a tattoo if I damn well please in the meantime. God, guns and guts made this country great , not preachin’ and sittin’ on your ass writing stupid blogs. Praise the lord and pass the ammunition ( and get more Tattoos).

  43. And another thing you punk, if you ever call me a liberal I will find out where you live . Then you can say it to my face and see what happens . At least the Christians I know aren’t Chickenshits and telling me I’m going to hell for my tattoos , they have them too.
I dare you to throw a stone at me. I’ll rip your arm out of its socket before you can cock it back, then I will shove the bloody end of it up you ass.

  44. Sgt. ROCK, Internet Tough Guy.

  45. Sgt. Rock: You’re thinking of the wrong type of tattoo permitted in the military.

“I may do it gladly as I wonder what kind of stupid god you answer to anyway, not mine.”

Your god must be false, then. The free market and science validate the Christian God, who states that tattoos are a sin.

“Us military men get tattoos as a mark to remind us of what we fight for , YOUR loving FREEDOMS!!!!”

Uh huh. I see that you like to ignore Air Force Academy policy, Naval Academy policy, and the regulatory (but not exclusionary) policy of the Army. I am quite certain that your complete disrespect for the sanctity of life, combined with the size you intend for the thing, are not going to be permitted by our sensible military authorities.

Your IP Address also traces back to Canada, which is lucky for you, since it confirms that you are just a poor writer that probably didn’t make the cut for Canada’s variation of the National Endowment of the Arts.

The only subjects you are correct on deal with the Islamists and the liberals. (Since you are actually a member of the latter group, however, your masochistic tone doesn’t resonate with patriotic Americans.) You make a mockery of those of us that actually HAVE served in the military.

    Now get lost, failed comedian.

  46. “The free market and science validate the Christian God, who states that tattoos are a sin.”
Science typically proves that religious people are silly little people who worship an invisible sky man.

  47. “Science typically proves that religious people are silly little people who worship an invisible sky man.”

Elephant, you should validate that statement by getting a Bible and then look at your life. You should know that God is really the one who provides for you. He makes sure that you have a job, so that you can have food to eat, keeps any harm and danger from you, keeps your heart beating. Have you ever thought of that? God knows every thing about you, he even knows how many hairs are on your head.

You should start thinking about it, Elephant.

  48. “God knows every thing about you, he even knows how many hairs are on your head.”
Except you can’t prove those statements without citing the Bible, which is where the beliefs came from. Circular logic, Tom.
I’m not anti-religious, just pro-common sense. And I am of the opinion that a great deal of religious people (not necessarily you) put their faith before their good sense, and no good comes of it.

  49. “Science typically proves that religious people are silly little people who worship an invisible sky man.”

That’s the type of ’science’ practiced by colleges, dorks, and the other degenerates in our society. True science, which requires empiricism and experience of God’s world, proves a Creator.

“Except you can’t prove those statements without citing the Bible, which is where the beliefs came from. Circular logic, Tom.”

All correct logic is circular, nitwit. Consider this statement:

-My food is cold because of the refrigerator.
-The refrigerator works because my food is cold.

The coldness of the food and the refrigerator’s ability to cool the food are proven in tandem. So are God and the Bible. All correct logic is circular, since human knowledge of the going-ons of the world is finite. Granted, once you start talking with the LORD, logic is not necessarily circular, as His knowledge is infinite. However, since He is the cause of all, the point is moot. All proofs must fit into the great circle of logic, or else they are untrue.

“I’m not anti-religious, just pro-common sense. And I am of the opinion that a great deal of religious people (not necessarily you) put their faith before their good sense, and no good comes of it.”

Repent, Elephant Bones, so that the LORD can spare you. Atheism, Deism, Agnosticism, Paganism, and other disorders all refuse to acknowledge the Truth: the Bible is the best selling book of all time in every country, surpassing the Koran and other assorted blasphemies by several billion, if not trillion, counts. This is not to mention that any statement in the Bible contains divine knowledge that you can only hope to aspire towards.

  50. Okay here christians, here is a problem , it is obvious you do not understand the bible you are reading, Leviticus19;28 says do not put cuttings into the flesh or put markings upon yourselves to morn the dead because i am the lord!!! Now if you where some what educated people used to cut them selves or out markings on them when they where in morning over a ost loved one, native americans, it was a common practice, not about tattooing !!! it says tattoo in the kings james version, But that is bullshit anyway, the bible also says anyone changes these scriptures shall be doomed,,, goodluck to king james sounds like he is in trouble!!!! IN Leviticus it also says dont eat meat with blood in it, do not cut the hair on your head or the sides of your face!!! show me a minister that looks like zz top, Ha HA HAH HA !!!! GET A GRIP PEOPLE IF YOU WHERE TRUE CRISTIANS YOU WOULD NOT ACT THIS WAY EVEN IF YOU DISAGREED, WITH TATTOOING YOU SHOULD BE POLITE IF YOU WANT TO BRING PEOPLE CLOSER TO GOD, YOU ARE MAKING THEM RUN!!! I AM A PROUD TATTOO ARTIST THAT MAKES A GREAT LIVING, THANK YOU 4 THIS WEBSITE IT SURE WILL BRING THE TATTOO INDUSTRY MOR BUSINESS!!!!

  51. I found this blog on accident when I was researching economic issues. Holy hell, I had quite a few laughs. The absurdity was endless. I thank you for spewing out you ignorance so strongly. I feel fortunate that I don’t run into people as ignorant as you on a daily basis. I know you are out there but I only value the opinions of open minded people. I am a happy, heavily tattooed woman. You head is so far up your butt, you can’t even tell your living in the dark anymore.
Your sure are quick to judge people by the colors on their skin. Isn’t that also against God? You need to reevaluate your belief structure. You are definitely not practicing what you are trying to preach.
At least you made me laugh today. Thank you for that.

  52. From the comments that I have seen from those defending their position concerning the ‘sin’ of tattooing, their belief in their bible is absolute, unwavering and highly devoted, you take the ‘Good Book’ in its most literal sense and attempt to adhere to it, thus came this posting. I must take regard to in general to the empty emotional comments that provide nothing more than a “I am right” and “You are wrong, because I said so” there is one comment of Ixion’s that I will address as literal your belief, it was stated:

“…Basically, anything that is injected into the body via needle, whether it be HIV, drugs, or vaccines, is an assault against your temple.”

In the justification for the sin of the needle (tattooing) Ixion has damned us all to the Lake of Fire and eternal pain. If your body belongs and is a possession of God Almighty and injecting a needle into it for any purpose or modification of the body is a sin on God’s possession, enough of a transaction to be thrown into Hell, you have damned every diabetic, every soldier, every holocaust victim and survivor, every doctor, nurse, president, congressman, religious figure, sports name, entertainer, every single man, woman and child (including yourself) to Hellfire since the advent of inoculation.

I would very much like to know how Ixion, or anyone on this board acquired the right to actually interpret the written word that Jehovah has given? The Bible for all it’s literal wording is not a living document, it is not like the American Constitution which can be amended, the Bible is a set declaration of teaching and knowledge, to assume that anyone can say, “This is what is meant” is not only presumptuous but blasphemous, man was created in the image of God, not as God and therefore by your literal definition to “translate” what the Lord “meant” you have put yourself on the same plane as The Almighty which is a sin, which marks yourself as a false prophet and an icon of transgression should anyone side with you, a fate worse than having a butterfly tattooed on your ankle I would imagine.

You can find judgment and support for many positions in the Bible, but the biggest being forgiveness, you have not nearly been on this planet long enough nor been in direct contact with the Divine to have mastered the art of being without sin, you are an imperfect product of Mankind and only the Father can send a soul to Hell, not you and not your justifications of being right in judging another. Words can be twisted, concocted and redefined, man is fallible God is not and He will judge man, thankfully I am confident that my God is not the misguided vision that Ixiom has bestowed upon us, I prefer to think the Lord is the God of Love and forgiveness.

  53. “Why is this verse so hard for our nation to follow?

Leviticus 19:28 Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.”

Well for one thing, not everyone’s a good Christian like you, are they? This is America, which means that everyone is free to believe in what they wish. That would explain why they don’t follow the verses.

I hope that you found some consolation in writing this article, because poking at people and calling them idiots is not going to open them up to being receptive to changing their ways. Or am I seeing this wrong?

  54. wow i can’t believe people like you(uptight, uneducated, bible thumpers) exist in this age… we are now all aware that religion and books were “man” made. Created by people in power to keep control of its people. nothing more than rituals and stories that are told to scare little kids into behaving how they thought kids should behave… equating tattoos and the economy is almost as idiotic as equating global warming with farting.. i think personally you should look beyond your fake world and come take a journey in reality, maybe then you’ll stop judging(like it says in the bible) and being just generally so wrong… remember mor wars have started because someone said god told them to do it… what kind of hateful god do you worship that ask for you to kill for him… i believe if god wanted to bring death god doesnot need our help… if you think he does it means you think you know better than god… are you???

  55. I am a Christian. I am tattooed. In Rev. it talks about Jesus having his name written upon his thigh.

Plus that Lev. verse is speaking of getting pierced and tattooed out of sorrow. Which in a Christian’s point of view….is selfish. You shouldn’t cry or feel bad for yourself for the dead. I get tattooed and pierced to celebrate life and milestones.

People with tattoos are not losers. There are rocket scientists, doctors, etc. that have tattoos. We are polite and don’t like the negative conotation that comes along with being tattooed. Most of us would like to change that and show people that we are not evil, that we are just like anyone else.

What about the verses in the Bible speaking about judging….

    Matthew 7:1-5
“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.

    John 7:24
Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.

    Luke 6:31
And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.

I thought that Christians (like myself) are supposed to be kind and spread the good word. That we, ourselves, are supposed to not judge and be rude to try to help the “unsaved’ This malicious article is the epitomy of why people don’t like Christians and hate being preached to. It’s very hypocritical to call people out on their “sins” and not your own.

  56. “People with tattoos are not losers. There are rocket scientists, doctors, etc. that have tattoos. We are polite and don’t like the negative conotation that comes along with being tattooed. Most of us would like to change that and show people that we are not evil, that we are just like anyone else.”

I see, Mr. Tattooed and Proud. However, our argument is not towards the fact of how polite and successful people with tattoos can be. Our argument is aimed towards the fact of what you are doing to your body. As a matter of fact, do you know that your body belongs to God?

1 Cor 6:19-20 Tells us that, and also it tells us that we must take care of our bodies. I do not know why you or anyone would want a tattoo. I cannot make any assumptions on that matter, however, I can tell you that it serves no useful purpose. All it does is implants this ink, forming a picture onto the area of your body of wherever you desire, and then leaving it there for life.

“Plus that Lev. verse is speaking of getting pierced and tattooed out of sorrow. Which in a Christian’s point of view….is selfish. You shouldn’t cry or feel bad for yourself for the dead. I get tattooed and pierced to celebrate life and milestones.”

As a Christian, why would need tattoos and piercings to celebrate life and milestones? And you have also mentioned that:

    “John 7:24
Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment.”

As we all know, God judges ones by their inward appearances, and not by their outward. Yes, you are right. So, at judgement day, when God judges you, do you think that he will judge you by your piercings and tattoos? Or will he judge you by what is in your heart and your mind?

If that is the case, then why bother to “celebrate life and milestones” by marking your outward appearance, when the judgement only matters from what is in your head? I have had some milestones, yet, I have never thought of tattooing myself. I have come an intersection in my life where I could make that choice, but I strongly believe that my milestone or current accomplishment in my life can be remembered from that point on, without the need for a tattoo.

Another thing, about this can be for marriage or a strong relationship. When I fell in love, and eventually got married, I also knew that there was no need for a tattoo. A heart with a ribbon carrying her name on it would be pointless. Your love and affections for your loved ones are expressed from your heart, and your actions. Not from your words nor do the “lovely pictures” on your skin say much either.

If I was some guy who went out and got a tattoo because I love my girlfriend or wife, and then, when I found out that I married the wrong woman, or I’m not the man she wants to be with, then… what am I going to do about that tattoo on my body? After my heart being broken from the breaking up, am I going to want a permanent marking on my body with her name to remind me about her, and the mistake that we have made? I certainly wouldn’t. I can’t imagine why anyone else would either.

Another thing, similar to the previous situation, is the same “milestones” that I have gone through in life. Although I was proud of it at the time of my life, then yet again, what if there was something that either I regret or am no longer proud of in my life? For instance, a milestone in my life is when I got my bachelors degree in computer science from UVA in Charlottesville, back in 1994, I was very proud of it, it had been the biggest accomplishment in my life at the time. However, after 6 years of staring at a computer screen for 10 hours a day for 5 days a week, with very little interaction and no excercise, things were going downhill for me. By 2001, I had enough, and then started looking into another business. Unfortunately, there was no time for me to go back to college, so I left and became a car salesman for toyota. I joined FedEx in 2003 as a second job when I heard about their benefits and after working with them for 5 years, I became a DSP(Delivery Service Provider, the guy who delivers packages to your door). But with all of that said and done, I look back to where I was in 1994 when I graduated. And today, I only wished that I had chosen a different path.

If I was a tattoo guy, and had tattooed that “milestone” back in 1994, I might have been “proud of it” until a few years pass by for me to find out nothing else other than I regret the path that I had taken and that I want to go on a different path, or career. In other words, if I tattooed that milestone on my skin, then I would be stuck with a marking of an accomplishment that I wish that I would have had never taken.

Although I have my bachelor’s degree, however, it means nothing to me now and does me no good in my line of work anymore. Keep in mind that neither a college degree, nor honors in your school can replace the knowledge of your major, nor can it replace your strong will to work hard.

To me, credentials, medals, markings on your skin, are never important to me. Yes, of course, a degree might come in handy when I am looking for a job when I have no experience, but when I am in the door and I work for them, it means nothing.

“What about the verses in the Bible speaking about judging….

What you need to think about is not the exact words of the text. The context, and the point that is being made from the scriputre is the most important part. When you study scripture, you must figure the truth for yourself. But keep in mind, that predetermination is not part of “figuring out the truth”, neither is listening olny to your pastor and then taking everything for granted. When you study scripture, you must take everything into account. You must include what has been said in previous scriptures along with the current scripture. Along with that, you must also take into account of what happens in reality.

  57. Keep in mind, that even if you are a christian, and you put a tattoo yourself saying “I am a good christian” or “I am one with God” or “I am saved by God and his son, Jesus Christ” and you might put a cross or a fish sign to go along with that. You can even put the tattoo on your forehead. Now let me ask you,

If God, who judges us by our hearts and not our bodies, then tell me this. How does that tattoo on your body help you get into heaven, or how does it help you come closer to God?

It doesn’t. As a matter of fact, you might be judged on why you had marked the body that he gave you, and that in your heart, maybe you don’t want to come closer to him. And maybe you might have thought that he would save you because of it, even if you backslid(leave God). It would be like a man who knows nothing about computers, but prints up a masters degree, and then shows it to the employer, so that he can get in the door. But when he gets into the door, he knows nothing.

Like the ten virgins, when the other five who had went out to buy their oil, and then came back, pounding on the door saying “Lord, Lord, let us in!” The Lord had spoken and said, “Go away, I know you not.”

The knowledge and the love for God is priceless. God cannot be bought. You must show your love to God with your heart and not from your word.

    That is all,
    God bless

  58. People who think like whatever clown wrote this simple minded article are the ones ruining the country. I have tattoos all over, I’m also a born-again christian, if you all have a problem with that, we can discuss it in heaven.

  59. “People who think like whatever clown wrote this simple minded article are the ones ruining the country. I have tattoos all over, I’m also a born-again christian, if you all have a problem with that, we can discuss it in heaven.”

I’m quite amused that you ignore the rather long arguments Tom and I put out. I’m equally amused that you insist on viewing us as ’simple-minded’, while attempting to justify tattoos by the usage of personal anecdote, a notoriously unreliable verifier.

I write articles like this because I am concerned for my fellow man’s soul. Knowing full well that even so called ‘Christians’ are not moved by Scripture, I resort to secular arguments as well. I’m sorry that you do not acknowledge the Word, and will pray for you until you do.

  60. Is this real? It is scary to think that people of these beliefs exist

  61. “Is this real? It is scary to think that people of these beliefs exist”

Very well. If you wish to ignore the Truth as presented, then go ahead and blow all your money on getting etchings in your skin. Don’t come crying to me or my tax dollars when you want a reimbursement for your follies.
